If you're on this page, it means that you've correctly made a profile on our platform. Congratulations! You own a login and a password, which needs to stay secured. Your sCoolaccount is practically a digital storage unit for book reports, presentations, movies but it's also a place where you can chat and have personal conversations with others. So it's kind of obvious that these data need to be secured at all times. You wouldn't want someone to break into your account and send messages in your name? You can do this by having a strong password but that's not enough. You need to frequently change the password in case if anyone would hack your password.
If you click on your name in the top left corner, a little menu will open. Then click on 'Profile' to go to your profile.
On the right side you'll see a pencil with next to it a button 'Edit profile' to edit your profile.
Next, you go to 'Login Settings' to go to the page where you can edit your email and password.
On the picture below you'll see 3 boxes. We''ve marked them with arrows so you can follow the instructions easily.
Are you sure you chose a strong password? Read the tips in the lesson packet or do the test to check to find out if it's really good enough That's the only way to be sure that the password-thief doesn't hack into your account.
If you get a red box, it's probably because you didn't give in the same password.
Try again and pay more attention. Then you just press the green button 'change password' and je new password is a fact! Your sCoolaccount is now safe again.
Don't forget your password! If you do, you can always go to 'Forgot password'.
"Psssst, an important rule: don't share the password with anyone but your parents! You wouldn't just give your house keys to a stranger either, now would you?
